Quinta Maragota - who are we

In September 2017 we, Rieneke and Remco, left the Netherlands with our cat and a caravan purchased especially for our adventure, to find a nice place in Portugal to live and create our dream of a small-scale holiday accommodation for adults. After a 7 month discovery tour through central and southern Portugal, we found our place near the coast, 30 minutes from Faro in the beautiful, authentic and quiet east of the Algarve, in a 100 year old farmhouse (quinta) with 5000m2 of land. Here we have made our dream come true in 2 years time - with the necessary modernisations and adjustions while maintaining the original character and details of this place. We have created four spacious holiday homes, various relaxation areas and a lovely swimming pool in our Mediterranean garden, where people can relax and enjoy all the beauty of the Eastern Algarve. Location & route in Google Maps

Accommodation Quinta Maragota is a 30-minute drive east of Faro airport and is easily accessible. We do not have an address you can enter in navigation systems, but if you search in Google Maps or Waze for 'Quinta Maragota Moncarapacho' you will find our exact location. We advice to rent a car to have more opportunities to explore our beautiful area during your stay. We work together with a car rental company, please contact us for the possibilities. Furthermore, it is possible to take a taxi, Uber or Bolt  from the airport (€30-€50). The nearest train station is Livramento station, a 20 minutes walk from the quinta.
