Holiday home Casa Quintinha

This 2 people 2-storey holiday home is located at the head of Quinta Maragota. This used to be a place where the harvest and dried fruit were kept and where the farm animals could roam around the walled courtyard. The name we have given this holiday home, Casa Quintinha (small farmhouse), is derived from this history.

Private terrace

Casa Quintinha (50m2) is accessed through a large walled courtyard, belonging to this holiday home, with a separate entrance door and lots of privacy. In this courtyard garden there is both sun and shade all year round and there are several seating and relaxing areas arranged. There are also several trees and plants, which gives a lush atmosphere, especially when the large bougainvilleas are in bloom.

Layout inside

You enter the house via 2 steps. On the ground floor are the living room and open kitchen, with in the middle of the room a user-friendly pellet stove (for the cooler months). The living room is tastefully and comfortably furnished with a sofa and armchair and offers a view of the inner garden. The kitchen has plenty of storage space and various appliances, cooking and eating utensils. The kitchen and living room are separated by a dining table and the open staircase to the first floor.

An air conditioner with cold/heat exchanger is available in this room for both cooling and heating.

On the first floor, there is an enclosed bedroom, bathroom and open dressing area. The bedroom has a view of the courtyard garden and there is an air conditioner with cold/heat exchanger. The bathroom has a toilet, spacious walk-in shower, washbasin and towel radiator. Towels, beach towels and a hairdryer are provided. There is a sliding window for ventilation, again with a view of the inner garden. Outside the bathroom is the spacious dressing area, where there is room for your personal belongings and suitcases.
